Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank joined some celebrity friends for Formula 1 weekend in Abu Dhabi.
On Sunday, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell-Horner shared a photo on Instagram with the royal couple, plus iconic supermodel Naomi Campbell and actor Orlando Bloom at the Grand Prix in the United Arab Emirates. Ginger Spice’s husband, Christian Horner, is the team principal and CEO of Red Bull Racing, which led the race over the weekend thanks to its main star, Max Verstappen. Red Bull’s other star, Sergio “Checo” Pérez, came in fourth place.
“Final @f1 race of the year 🏁,” Halliwell-Horner captioned the post, which showed the group smiling while at Yas Marina Circuit.
Halliwell-Horner, Campbell, and Bloom all have prior connections to the royal family.
The Spice Girl and longtime advocate for women victims of domestic violence recently teamed up with Prince William to promote Homewards, his new initiative to combat homelessness.
Campbell, who has worked to bring education to underdeveloped countries and advocated for people with disabilities, was named a Global Ambassador for the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee year in 2022.
And Bloom is engaged to Katy Perry, who is an ambassador of The British Asian Trust co-founded by King Charles III. The singer even performed at the monarch’s Coronation Concert this May.
The F1 photo doesn’t exactly come as a surprise, as Princess Eugenie has a long list of celebrity friends. Stars including Campbell, Cara and Poppy Delevingne, Liv Tyler, Demi Moore, James Blunt, Ellie Goulding, and Kate and Lila Moss, all attended her and Brooksbank’s wedding.
