Mansoor Ali Khan to drag Mega Star and other celebrities to court – Telugu News

Mansoor Ali Khan, known for sparking controversy with his offensive remarks about Chennai Thendral Trisha, remains unyielding in the face of criticism. In a recent development, he has declared his intention to take legal action against several celebrities, including Kushbu, Trisha, and Chiranjeevi, through his lawyer, Guru Dhanajeyan. He plans to file a defamation case, citing alleged disturbances to public peace with supporting evidence.

This move follows the National Commission for Women’s directive to the Tamil Nadu Police to register a case against Mansoor Ali Khan for his derogatory comments. The NCW expressed deep concern about the normalization of violence against women and called for the invocation of IPC Section 509 B and other relevant laws.

Despite initially contemplating skipping the inquiry, Mansoor Ali Khan applied for anticipatory bail after receiving a notice from the Thousand Lights All Women police station. The court, however, rejected his plea, leading to his appearance before the Chennai police for the inquiry, despite claiming to be unwell.

Facing backlash from various quarters, including celebrities like Chiranjeevi and Kushboo, Mansoor Ali Khan eventually apologized to Trisha. However, Trisha, in response, criticized him for his inappropriate remarks and expressed her gratitude for not having shared screen space with him.

Prominent figures from the film industry, including Chiranjeevi, Khushboo, Chinmayi Sripada, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Nithiin, condemned Mansoor Ali Khan’s comments. Chiranjeevi labeled the remarks as distasteful and disgusting, emphasizing the need to condemn such behavior. Nithiin echoed these sentiments, denouncing chauvinism in society and urging everyone to stand against derogatory remarks targeting women.

Khushboo vehemently criticized Mansoor Ali Khan’s disrespectful attitude towards women, calling for an apology to the named female actors and women in general. She emphasized that such misogynistic mindsets will not be overlooked, asserting that women today are strong enough to fight for their respect and dignity. Khushboo stood in solidarity with Trisha and her colleagues, emphasizing the importance of standing up against individuals with such sexist mindsets.

Here are the celebrities’ reactions on social media.

Chiranjeevi said “My attention was drawn to some reprehensible comments made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan about Trisha. The comments are distasteful and disgusting not just for an Artiste but for any woman or girl. These comments must be condemned in the strongest words. They reek of perversion. I stand with @trishtrashers and every woman who has to be subject to such horrid comments.”

Nithiin stated, “I strongly condemn Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan’s vile and vulgar statement against @trishtrashers. Chauvinism has no place in our society. I urge everyone to stand up against such remarks targeting women in our industry.”

Khushboo blasted saying “Some men think it’s their birth right to insult a woman or speak about her in a most disrespectful manner. Recent video of #MansoorAliKhan is one such example. I vehemently condemn his speech. They think their ‘chumma comedykku sonnen’ attitude will be overlooked n ignored. No, it won’t be done so. He should apologise to every female actor he has named in his speech and to women in general for displaying his dirty, misogynist, lowly minsdset. Women of today are strong enough to fight for their respect & dignity.”

She stated, “Nobody can get away with such a filthy mind. I stand with @trishtrashers and my other colleagues where this man speaks in such a sexist disgusting mindset about them, including me. When we are fighting tooth & nail to protect women & bring dignity to them, such men are like a bot in our society.”
