I’m A Celebrity won’t be on at 9pm tonight

I’m A Celebrity will not be on at its normal 9pm slot on ITV1 on Saturday night. The move comes after lower viewing figures which saw two million fewer people tune in for the season opener last weekend.

The move comes after drama which has seen Nigel Farage stripping naked on camera twice this week, while in camp arguments have raged between Fred Siriex and Nella Rose. This week also saw Jamie Lynn Spears discuss sister Britney’s kiss with Madonna at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) as she talked about her her relationship with her older sister.

Elsewhere in the show, MasterChef star Grace Dent admitted she wanted to “go home” after getting selected for the latest trial – three stars have already said they want to quit, and Nella Rose had to duck out of one challenge half-way through.

Dent told Josie Gibson: “I’ve had enough. I’ve completely had enough. I just want to go home.” She later added in the Bush Telegraph: “I haven’t got a lot left in me at the moment. I’m just keeping on a face for everybody.”

Dent and her teammate, former politician Nigel Farage, had to take on YouTuber Nella Rose and TV star Sam Thompson in Touchdown of Terror – winning by default as Rose pulled out of it early.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will be shown on Saturday at 9.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX. The shift of half an hour means it will not clash with Survivor on BBC1 – which has been running for weeks and finished by 9.30pm.

The show will instead compete with Take That in concert on BBC2 and an episode of Lee mack’s Not Going Out.
