I’m a Celebrity sees camp split into teams

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! spoilers follow.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! aired a twist tonight, with the camp being split into teams.

In tonight’s (November 23) episode, the 10 jungle campmates were competitors for the first time, with the first group challenge of the series taking place.

The task involved keys, locks, stars and a whole load of gunk, with the aim being to collect the five stars as quickly as possible.

After a closely fought battle, the fastest five celebrities were Jamie-Lynn, Nella, Sam, Danielle and Fred, who earned themselves a place on the Home team.

The remaining five – Nick, Marvin, Josie, Grace, Nigel – were designated the Away team, with the significance being revealed in time.

Before then, we got our first glimpse at the two late arrivals – Tony Bellew and Frankie Dettori – as they competed for the honour of being team captains.

They were required to complete an obstacle course whilst carrying (in their mouth) some pigs’ testicles, with Frankie eventually coming out on top.

As the victor, he was assigned the captain for the Home team, with the group being granted a luxurious camp and meal. Conversely, the Away team made their camp at Snake Rock, which was short of the luxuries afforded to the other team.

They had the chance to make amends, however, with the winners of the ‘Slam Dunk’d’ play-off being rewarded with a hearty breakfast. It was the Home Team who triumphed again, though, with Nella and Fred beating Marvin and Nick in a basketball contest.

The teams will compete again tomorrow (November 24), with Nella and Grace facing off alongside two other unannounced campmates in ‘Touchdown Terror’ – just what will they face?

I’m a Celebrity… airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
