I’m a Celebrity, day 5 review: Celebs treated to the ‘Full Farage’ in awkward bath encounter

The five highest-placing celebs were Fred, Jamie Lynn, Sam, Danielle and Nella. They formed the “Home Team”. The losing quintet of Nigel, Marvin, Nick, Josie and Grace were the “Away Team”.

Their punishment was a move to another, less glamorous camp – though at least they no longer had to fight the temptation to ask Jamie Lynn about her sister, Britney Spears.

There were no let-offs for the newbies. Bellew and Dettori participated in a race to determine which side each would coach. It involved an obstacle course and – what else? Pig’s testicles and winner Frankie joined the home team.

It was one of those in-between instalments you forgot even as you watched. There wasn’t much drama. And certainly no talking points comparable to Wednesday’s face-off between Nella and Nigel over Brexit and immigration.

Unless Bellew spitting out his mulched rice supper counted. Still, viewers who like when campmates get along will have been encouraged that Nella and Fred have patched up their differences. They even teamed up for a basketball-themed challenge.

What do you think?
