I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is set to return to screens on Sunday night as 10 new celebrities will enter the Australian jungle.
And pictures from the upcoming debut episode show the celebrities being thrown straight into the deep end with a series of stomach-churning challenges.
Josie Gibson got covered in vile gunk as she joined Nigel Farage and Nella Rose in their first challenge, while Marvin Humes conquered his fear of heights with the dreaded skydive.
JLS star Marvin, 38, took on the nail-biting skydive with Jamie Lynn Spears and Nick Pickard, while Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold, Fred Sirieix and Grace Dent were faced with a skyscraper challenge as they were stranded 2,000 miles away.
Snaps from the episode prove This Morning star Josie, 38, did not shy away from giving her all to the unpleasant first challenge as she emerged covered head-to-toe in sticky gunk.
She was barely recognisable beneath the thick layer of brown sludge after dunking herself headfirst into a vat of slime in a bid to win tokens for her fellow celebrities.
After throwing herself headfirst into one vat, Josie appeared thrilled with her efforts as she flashed a huge smile in celebration, despite being covered in gunk.
Josie, Nigel and Nella were all tasked with winning time for their fellow campmates, who were taking part in other challenges 2,000 miles away on the Gold Coast.
But it was no easy feat as they were faced with searching through gallons of sticky gunk and scary hell holes in a bid to score the much-needed tokens.
And Josie wasn’t the only one who threw herself into the slime in the challenge, as Nigel ended up wading waist-deep in a vat of unpleasant gunk.
Nella also appeared terrified as she looked shocked and appeared to scream while rooting through the vats, while she also had to stick her head into a mysterious van.
Elsewhere, Marvin conquered his fear of heights as he joined his fellow campmates Jamie Lynn and Nick in taking on the dreaded skydive.
In his pre-jungle interview, Marvin confessed: ‘Heights is definitely something that I’m most scared about, I get sweaty palms thinking about it.’
And producers did not shy away from getting Marvin to face his biggest fear in his first challenge, as he was forced to take on the skydive before even arriving in camp.
The TV presenter, who is married to Rochelle Humes, looked very uncertain before the skydive, but bravely managed to make the jump and take on his fear.
Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn also looked terrified as she stood in the helicopter, while Nick appeared very alarmed as he hurtled through the sky.
After the skydive, the trio then found out that they would have to head straight into action with a trial, leaving no time for them to rest in camp.
The final campmates – Sam, Danielle, Fred and Grace – arrived 2,000 miles away on the Gold Coast by helicopter and were faced with a very imposing skyscraper task.
The group all met on top of the scary structure, with hosts Ant and Dec telling them what was in store for them in the nail-biting task.
Two at a time, they had to descend a ladder down the side of the eye-wateringly high building before inching their way sideways along a ledge towards a huge horizontal flag pole.
They then had to lie down flat on the pole, forcing them to look down at the huge drop below, and edge out to unclip carabiners to release their star-print flag – all while racing against the clock.
