Wallingford Drive, Beverly Hills, California is the location of the mansion that JLo and Ben Affleck bought to bring their family together after they got married, however, the property holds criminal tragedies that happened in the mansion with the previous owners.
The gigantic mansion has a past that has been the subject of police reports in California as crimes have taken place on the premises and the house has gained a reputation for being a terrifying mansion.
Curtis D. Somoza, one of the previous owners of the mansion, is now serving a 25-year sentence for defrauding 64 people with the famous Ponzi scheme and thus amassing a fortune of 61 million. He owned the house from 2004 to 2007.
Although there have been many owners over the years, undoubtedly, the story that gives goosebumps to whoever reads about it occurred in 2015 when Saudi Prince Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud, purchased the mansion and reportedly committed a series of sexual abuse to a number of women.
According to the Independent, “While waiting outside, plaintiffs saw (the prince’s girlfriend) and another female with bruises and blood on their face and body. They were shaking and crying,” court papers said. “Plaintiffs are in fear for their lives and believe that Al Saud will have them killed.
Bennifer’s gigantic and luxurious mansion has 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms and has 15 fireplaces, space for 12 cars, a huge swimming pool, a giant sports complex with a gym and boxing ring, a complete spa, a wine cellar in a special room, and even a movie theater where everyone gathers to watch movies.
According to TMZ, the mansion was stigmatized since the tragedy of the Saudi prince and was put up for sale in 2018, its sale price was 135 million, but because of its background, its value decreased, and JLo and Ben Affleck managed to purchase it for less than half the price at 61 million.
