Britney also revealed that her fling with Colin came after her breakup with then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake in 2002. She admitted that she wasn’t “over Justin” when she appeared alongside Colin at the opening of his 2003 movie, “The Recruit,” but tried to convince herself that she was “just having fun” with Colin.

While Colin referred to Britney as “a sweet, sweet girl” at the premiere, Britney’s memoir doesn’t delve into what led to the end of their relationship. Instead, she wrote: “For a brief moment in time, I did think there could be something there. The disappointments in my romantic life were just one part of how isolated I became. I felt so awkward all the time.”

This isn’t the only bombshell that has been revealed in Britney’s memoir. TMZ recently reported that Britney and Justin had made the difficult decision to abort their unborn child while they were dating in the early 2000s.
