Britney Spears is no stranger to making headlines, and her recent knife-wielding dance videos are no exception.
The pop superstar shared a new video of herself confidently twirling around with a butcher knife in each hand via Instagram.
This comes just weeks after a similar video sparked concerns that led to a wellness check at her residence.
In her latest post, Spears, 41, donned a tiny orange and white polka-dot crop top and white bikini bottoms, the same outfit from her original knife dance video on September 25.
While the sound of the knives hitting each other seemed real, she assured fans they were fake and playfully invited them over, saying, “Come over, don’t worry, I have such a warm inviting loving home with these FAKE knives!!!”
Britneys first knife video prompted police call
This is not the first time Spears had to clarify her knife dance videos.
She previously addressed fans’ worries in the caption of a video on September 28, explaining that the knives were fake and rented from a prop shop in LA.
The initial knife video on September 25 prompted a wellness check at Spears’ mansion in Thousand Oaks, California.
A concerned individual had seen the video on social media, where Spearsdanced with knives in her hands.
Although Spears’ security team prevented the sergeant from physically seeing her, they confirmed she was okay.
Britney’s viral knife dancing video has reportedly given a boost to a struggling prop shop in Los Angeles.
The Hand Prop Room manager revealed that online purchases and shop inquiries doubled after the pop icon mentioned them on Instagram.
Rentals, especially of knives, also saw a 50 percent increase.
Brittney’s memoir comes out next week
This latest attention-grabbing video coincides with a revelation in her upcoming memoir, “The Woman in Me,” where she opens up about her abortion during her relationship with Justin Timberlake.
The two dated from 1999 to 2002, and Spears made the difficult decision to have an abortion because Timberlake was not ready to be a father at the time.
In her memoir, Spears aims to provide an intimate look into her life, dispelling rumors and misinformation, and owning her past, present, and future.
The highly anticipated memoir is set to be released on October 24, offering fans a deeper understanding of the iconic pop star.
